How the Board Works

In the real world, most busy medical and pharmaceutical sales recruiters work anywhere from 20-40 open positions at anytime depending on the level of administrative support behind the operation. Every Job on MedMarket Jobs.com expires within 30, 60 or 90 days from the date it was posted. In order to maintain the integrity of the service and ensure that the jobs on this site are relevant, medical and pharmaceutical sales recruiting firms post jobs that they want to "split" with other recruiting firms and "general advertising jobs" that need to be updated every 30, 60 or 90 days. This key ingredient ensures that the jobs are extremely active and relevant for candidates who would apply to the opening. Because a majority of jobs are a potential split opportunity for member recruiting firm, they will want to make sure their postings are current and relevant for other recruiting firms as well.

How do I search for candidates on MedMarket Jobs?

Under the "Employers" Section. Click on the link that says "Search." Recruiters have the ability to search by a number of different criteria. They can also "browse by job category" which is useful in determining if there are any local jobs available for strong candidates that you may be working with. Recruiters may also search for candidates by job title, category, or city and state.

How do I delete a job I have already posted?

Log into your account using your “user name” and “password”. Go to “Manage Jobs” You can edit or delete the jobs that you are currently working on in this section.

When does my MedMarket Jobs membership expire?

When you make your initial purchase of $34.95 (or $14.95 for MedmarketConnect.com customers), your membership will renew on an annual basis at your inception date of membership. Is there a limit to the number of jobs I may post as a recruiter?

How soon is a job visible on the site after I post it?

Immediately. MedMarket Jobs is a real time database so that when you post or renew a job it is instantly viewable on the site by candidates until it expires. When you click the “Post New Job Button", you will immediately see the new job at the top of your “Current Jobs” list when you go into your “Manage Jobs” profile within your account. You can modify your existing jobs and view your applicants within that portion of the site as well. You can also see how my people have viewed your current job from the “Manage Jobs” link within your profile.

How do I edit a job I have already posted?

Click the "Manage Jobs" menu button to view your Current Jobs List and then select "Edit" next to the specific job you want to update. Make your changes and click the "Update Job" button to save your changes, which take effect immediately.

How long does a job remain posted?

All jobs expire automatically 30, 60, or 90 days from the date posted. You will need to repost the jobs after 90 days if it hasn’t been filled.

As a Recruiter, How do I post a candidate to “split” for a job opening on this website?

The recruiting firm interested in submitting a candidate to the open “split opportunity” simply has to respond directly to the firm that has sent the split announcement to gather more information and then determine if you have any candidates that meet the needs of the other recruiter’s client.  If you do, email the recruiter your qualified resumes and the other recruiter will respond accordingly.  In the event of a successful split, bill the other firm 50% as you would in any other split transaction and have them mail the check to your office.  This is in accordance with our network split agreement and network guidelines and rules of engagement. 

As a Recruiter, How do I search for Candidates in the system?

This is very easy to do.  Simply click on the “Search” button on the left hand side under the “Recruiters Section.”  Log into your account.  You will then be able to search for candidates based on a number of criteria.  Generally, it is wise to choose the geography (City and State) that you are looking for first.
